How bad are the builders hurting with invertory homes? I spent the day looking at new construction (spec homes) in East Raleigh, Knightdale, Wendell, and Zebulon. There are certainly deals to be had out there, the builders have over built and are now sitting on very nice houses. Those monthly interest payments are starting to hurt so the buliders are now dropping their prices and starting to offer crazy insentives.
