Sunday, 10 February 2008 RALEIGH, N.C. -- A couple looking to build three electricity-generating wind turbines in rural North Carolina is facing opposition from neighbors who say the towering windmills will create noise and disrupt the aesthetic scenery of their coastal community.   I got a Possum in my house Sunday, 10 February 2008 A client of mine was purchasing a new home and after we had negotiated a contract we had the property inspected. Low and behold we found a huge possum living in the crawl space. The door was broken so it allowed the critter to come and go as he pleased. This guy had a sweet set up, he had pulled down some insulation for a bed and two concrete wall for security. When the inspector found Mr. Possum he was not too happy and made sure he let the inspector know that this was his house and he was a unwelcome visitor. Well as you can guess my clients were not interested in getting a pet possum so we had to liberate Mr. Possum from his plush crib (he was not harmed and was released back into the wild). The point to this story is that no matter how nice the neighborhood or house it is always a good idea to get home inspection because you never know who may be living there.
