Karl Zellman has been a real estate broker in North Carolina since 1998. He formed J&F Investments LLC with his brother Chris Zellman, a licensed mortgage broker, in the fall of that same year for the purpose of real estate investing and residential sales. In 2004, he helped form Promised Land Realty (PLR), where he served as a broker manager until 2007. Under his management, he helped grow PLR into a company with a near 100% success rate of helping people get into the home of their dreams. Driven at his core by a passion to educate homeowners about their home's financial potential, Karl decided to put his entire focus back into J&F Investments so that he could better serve clients and help make their buying or selling process easier and help steer them into multi-family investment projects. He's also developed land for homes and town homes.

Clients Casey and Leslie Allen and Todd Ballenger were very pleased with Karl's approach to helping them in their search for a home. A native of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Karl moved to Raleigh, North Carolina in 1982. He's a Broughton High School and North Carolina State University graduate, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Management, with a concentration in Finance. He started his professional career first in construction, then in banking as a loan processor and mortgage broker for Capital Savings Inc. Karl still carries a North Carolina Mortgage Brokers License but doesn't actively originate loans. Karl lives in Raleigh with his wife of 4 years, Christy and their 5-month old son Cole. They attend Providence Baptist Church in Raleigh.
